Extra-curricular Activities and Trips
We are a faculty who are as busy with our extra-curricular activities as we are in our lessons, with activities taking place every day. These range from Choir to Samba Band, from Drama club to school production rehearsals and the spaces are always busy with students rehearsing for their Music and Drama performances.

We also provide music at whole school events such as Opening Evening, Year 6 parents evening and Presentation Evening.
The Performing Arts Department has also run successful tours abroad, including to Holland most recently.
Recent whole school productions have included ‘Bugsy’, ‘Annie’, ‘Grease’, ‘Hairspray’, ‘Peter Pan’ and ‘Shrek’. Our next production will be ‘Oliver’ in January 2024.
Trips to the theatre and music concerts are a regular feature and recent trips include:
- Year 7 and 8 Music reward trips to ‘School of Rock’ and ‘Hairspray’
- GCSE Music trip to ‘Wicked’
- Drama trips to see ‘Woman in Black’, ‘Girls and Boys’ at the Royal Court and ‘The Encounter’ at the Barbican
