As co-headteachers we would like to welcome you to our website. We feel very proud and privileged to be leading this school. Parents, students and staff can expect continuity in all those aspects of the school which we know they value, including a safe, orderly and purposeful atmosphere, high academic standards, a broad and balanced curriculum and positive relationships.
Maiden Erlegh has a strong track record as a high achieving, inclusive and vibrant comprehensive school which is summed up in our motto: "a school of opportunity, diversity and success". It is an exciting and supportive place in which to learn and work and we are very lucky to have some of the most talented, hard-working and ambitious staff around. We also have the privilege of working with a student body of bright, exciting and dynamic young people.
As well as offering students a broad and varied curriculum, we also offer them a wide range of extra-curricular activities, giving students opportunities to develop new interests, learn new skills, take on new responsibilities, visit new places and have a range of cultural and sporting experiences.
In a rapidly changing educational landscape, we will continue to work hard with all our colleagues to ensure the very best practice in teaching and learning, to secure the highest levels of progress and attainment and to ensure that students have every opportunity to fulfil their potential and leave as well-qualified, confident and well-rounded young adults, ready for the next phase of their lives.
The School Improvement Plan provides a framework on which we will build for the future. A summary of our School Improvement Plan focus areas can be found here
